So many of us are hiding from so many things, past events or emotions we don’t want to look at or feel.
Let me give you an example:
there you are minding your own business and all of a sudden this thought pops into your mind: “Remember the time that all laughed at you. It was in grade 5. You did not know the answer” .
The thought seemingly jumps out of nowhere and there you are going down this rabbit hole of shame or sadness or helplessness. You get totally sucked in . You remember other times where you made mistakes and felt the same way.
Our tendency is to either try to ignore this by doing what we always do when that happens: eat something, do some on-line shopping or get into a dark mood and get back at someone who did not deserve any of it.

Yes! That is the key.
- It pops up
- Do not give it any energy, no story, no melodrama
- Take a deep breath: open you heart, and let it go
- Only 2 options: you let it go or you don’t let it go
- I recommend tapping here and repeating : I let it go over and over as you go around the tapping points.
You will notice it looses its grip and you feel better.
